Amanda Bynes Might Make Comeback on Dancing With the Stars

Amanda is currently being cared for by her mother and is under conservatorship, but is reportedly in talks with the show to make an appearance next year. The actress had a public breakdown but is thinking of making a comeback to the spotlight by taking part in the show. An insider commented:

”She is in negotiations with ABC to do ‘Dancing With the Stars’ next year. They think Amanda has a wonderful underdog story and ‘DWTS’ is the perfect forum for her to prove she can entertain while being vulnerable at the same time.”

The source says Amanda is back on track and no longer a mess, and wants to prove that she’s in a good place by staging the comeback. She thinks the show is a great way to return to the spotlight:

”People think she’s still a mess, but that’s no longer the case. ‘DWTS’ is the perfect opportunity for her to prove to her friends, family and fans that she’s back in control of her life.”

She’s also attracted to the big pay cheque that comes with appearing on the show:

”It’s not unheard of for big names to make almost $300,000 for competing. It’s hard to turn down a pay cheque like that for what is essentially a brilliant PR stunt.”
