Clevver News VIDEO: Miley Cyrus Slays Her Debut As Coach On The Voice

There were nothing but positive reviews after Miley’s first episode on The Voice. While the singer only served as a key adviser to the contestants during the knockout rounds this season, it’s safe to say that after watching Miley on the show, she’s going to make the perfect coach when Season 11 rolls around because this popstar definitely knows what she’s talking about.
Miley gave great advice to each of the contestants on the show before the battle rounds and to put things into perspective, the guidance she gave Emily Keener actually saved the contestant from going home! In case anyone is wondering, Miley advised Emily to start off her performance solo with her guitar. It was a huge risk, but it obviously turned out very well for Emily.
Not only was Miles able to guide the contestants in the right direction, she also has AMAZING chemistry with each of the coaches on the show. Christina praised the popstar by telling the cameras after their backstage dance sesh that QUOTE, “She’s such a free spirit, she’s a lot of fun.” Meanwhile, Blake Shelton didn’t really offer up any nice praises for his future co-coach, but he did make fun of her and that’s pretty much the equivalent of a compliment, right?
She’s just being Miley, ya’ll. But seriously though, I have a feeling when Miley joins the panel of coaches for season 11 with Alicia Keys, it’s going to be a wild ride. Are you happy with Miley being a coach on The Voice or were you hoping they’d bring Gwen Stefani back to the show?
