David Schwimmer Refused to Appear on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’

David was preparing for his part in  FX’s new miniseries, The People vs. O.J. Simpson. He decided to give momager Kris Jenner a call to find out more about his character. During a two hour phone call, he said he found out:

“how much a man of faith Robert was, how he prayed at every meal and before every big business meeting and how he was this very compassionate, generous guy.”

He reveals that he was then invited onto the family’s reality show, but he decided to pass on their invitation:

“The producers of [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] had asked me if I wanted to talk to the daughters, too, but I didn’t feel that was necessary. And they wanted to do it on camera.”

The Kardashian children, then just young kids, also appear during the mini-series. In one scene, the family are seen dining at a Chinese restaurant, when Robert delivers a speech for his children which may have some tongue-in-cheek references to their current careers:

“We are Kardashians, and in this family, being a good person and a loyal friend is more important than being famous. Fame is fleeting. It’s hollow. It means nothing at all without a virtuous heart.”
