Lying about West Point: Ben Carson is not as honest as he portrays himself to be

Oh Ben, Ben, Ben Carson. What a shame. You let me down and I’m sure you let down a whole bunch of other people down after reading this article from Politico that says you made up the story that you got a scholarship to West Point at 17 after meeting with General William Westmoreland. It was all a lie? I thought you were going to be different. I thought you were going to be a change from politics as usual. But it seems that you’re like everyone else. I listened to your 1998 speech, where you talked about honesty and how important it is (see video below). I thought you had real integrity, even if you didn’t have practical experience governing. I thought that the media was being unfair to you concerning what you said in that speech about the pyramids and how you thought that they were built for grain storage. It’s not that I agreed with you. I just didn’t think that it was anything that stupid. But lying about West Point? Come now! What about honesty? Don’t you care about the truth? I don’t believe you do. You lost my vote.

DailyStab doesn’t get into politics. But this story is too big to ignore. Ben Carson
