Taylor Swift Stays Humble by Remembering She’s a Young Homeowner

Life is not fair – but if your Taylor Swift, life is definitely a little easier and harder to complain about. The singer admits that she begins to take things for granted from time to time, and has to remind herself that she has everything – including her own home which she bought with her own money – and she’s just 25. She said:

”I don’t think I will go crazy, because I admit to myself that my life is strange and not normal. Sometimes it feels unfair, but when I get home to my New York apartment – which I still cannot believe that I can actually afford – then it no longer feels so unfair to me.”

Taylor thinks some female artists are out to court controversy to become more famous, but that isn’t how she likes to be and she doesn’t like to act that way:

”Every artist has other priorities. Every woman falls back on other things, about which they feel strongly about. Many want to be eccentric, cool or bored. That’s fantastic if you have a do not care attitude. But that’s not mine.”

She now sees that there is no fairytale ending when it comes to romance:

“Once I fell in love, or thought I was in love, and then experienced disappointment or it just not working out a few times, I realized there’s this idea of happily ever after which in real life doesn’t happen. There’s no riding off into the sunset, because the camera always keeps rolling in real life.”
