Happy 4th of July! In honor of America’s birthday, we’re taking a look at some of Hollywood’s foreign-born celebs who have become U.S. citizens. Sofia Vergara was born in a small town in Columbia but after living and working in America for years, she became an official citizen in 2014. “It’s a very emotional moment for me,” she said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” South African-born Charlize Theron made it official in the U.S.A. in 2007 and opened up about why she found it so important during an interview with CBS.
